Definitions

THE PUBLISHER: THE NATURAL OR LEGAL PERSON WHO PUBLISHES ONLINE PUBLIC COMMUNICATION SERVICES.

Browsing the Site does not require registration or prior identification. It can be done without you providing any personal data about yourself (last name, first name, address, etc.). We do not record any personal data for the simple browsing of the Site.

Geolocation for matching purposes
We collect and process your geolocation data to enable our services to identify points of overlap in time and space with other Users of the service in order to present you with the profiles of matched Users. In accordance with your right to object provided by Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, data files, and civil liberties, you may, at any time, disable geolocation-related functions. You acknowledge that the service will then no longer be able to present you with profiles of other users.
Geolocation shared with partners for listing and aggregation (opt-in)
We may collect and process your geolocation data with our partners. We undertake to anonymize the data used. In accordance with your right to object provided by Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, data files, and civil liberties, you may, at any time, disable geolocation-related functions.

Collection of device data

Collection of profiling and technical data for the purpose of providing the service
Certain technical data from your device is automatically collected by the Site. This information includes, in particular, your IP address, Internet service provider, hardware configuration, software configuration, browser type and language, etc. The collection of this data is necessary for the provision of the services.

Cookies

Cookie retention period
In accordance with CNIL recommendations, the maximum retention period for cookies is 13 months at most after they are first stored on the User’s device, as is the validity period of the User’s consent to the use of these cookies. The lifespan of cookies is not extended with each visit. The User’s consent must therefore be renewed after this period.

Technical data is retained for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purposes referred to above.

Retention of data for the duration of the contractual relationship
In accordance with Article 6-5° of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, data files, and civil liberties, personal data that is processed is not retained beyond the time necessary to perform the obligations defined when the contract is concluded or beyond the predefined duration of the contractual relationship.
Retention of anonymized data beyond the contractual relationship / after account deletion
We retain personal data for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purposes described in these Terms of Use. Beyond this period, it will be anonymized and retained for exclusively statistical purposes and will not be used in any way whatsoever.
Deletion of data after account deletion
Data purging procedures are implemented to ensure effective deletion once the retention or archiving period necessary to achieve the determined or required purposes has been reached. In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, data files, and civil liberties, you also have a right to delete your data, which you may exercise at any time by contacting the Publisher.
Deletion of data after 3 years of inactivity
For security reasons, if you have not authenticated on the Site for a period of three years, you will receive an email inviting you to log in as soon as possible; otherwise, your data will be deleted from our databases.

Account deletion

The User may delete their Account at any time, by simply requesting it from the Publisher OR via the Account deletion menu available in the Account settings, where applicable.
Account deletion in the event of a breach of the Terms of Use
In the event of a breach of one or more provisions of the Terms of Use or any other document incorporated herein by reference, the Publisher reserves the right to terminate or restrict, without prior notice and at its sole discretion, your use of and access to the services, your account, and all Sites.

We undertake to implement all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks of accidental, unauthorized, or unlawful access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction of your personal data. In the event that we become aware of unlawful access to your personal data stored on our servers or those of our service providers, or of unauthorized access resulting in the realization of the risks identified above, we undertake to:

Limitation of liability
Under no circumstances may the commitments defined above regarding notification in the event of a security breach be construed as any acknowledgment of fault or liability for the occurrence of the incident in question.

Transfer of personal data abroad

The Publisher undertakes not to transfer its Users’ personal data outside the European Union.

Amendments to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy

In the event of changes to these Terms of Use, a commitment not to substantially reduce the level of privacy without prior notice to the persons concerned
We undertake to inform you in the event of any substantial change to these Terms of Use, and not to substantially reduce the level of privacy of your data without informing you and obtaining your consent.

Applicable law and dispute resolution procedures

Arbitration clause
You expressly agree that any dispute that may arise from these Terms of Use, in particular regarding their interpretation or performance, will be subject to arbitration proceedings governed by the rules of the arbitration platform chosen by mutual agreement, to which you will adhere without reservation.

Data portability

The Publisher undertakes to offer you the possibility of having all data concerning you returned to you upon simple request. The User is thus guaranteed better control over their data and retains the possibility of reusing it. This data must be provided in an open and easily reusable format.
